Barranco del Infierno
This time we’ll stay in the south of the island.
We are welcomed by another piece of untouched nature in Costa Adeje.
We are going to visit the "ravine of hell" or in Spanish “Barranco del infierno”.
It is a Canyon-like chasm between the mountains and gives you the feeling of ending up in a Western movie.
Don't worry you won't be hunted by spotting some crazy tourists here.
Once arrived we are provided with a safety helmet and we can start the exploration.
You’ll walk on a single path and to protect nature and for safety reasons.
Only a few people are allowed per day and hour.
It is a large nature reserve with a huge variety of plants and animals.
The walk is divided into several stops where you can take photos and observe the surroundings.
To inform the visitors, wooden signs have been placed where you can find all kinds of information about different plants and animals.
It is no coincidence to find a bird of prey or several salamanders here.
Who knows.. when it is quiet… which animals you can still or photograph here.
You can also visit the waterfall located in the gulch at the end of the hiking trail ...
The waterfall is a scenic place where you can catch your with beautiful things this trip has to offer before we can start the journey back.
At the end of the trip you will be surprised by the variety that Tenerife offers.
