PLAYA De Fañabe
Over the years, Playa de Fañabé has been fully built up.
The huge boulders that lay there in the early 90s gave way to a beach and a large boulevard with the necessary bars and restaurants followed.
The few hotels that were there at that time got into competition in a short time and gradually several restaurants, bars, hotels and apartment complexes were added.
Now… 20 years later, Playa de Fañabé is completely finished.
The beach consists mainly of volcanic remnants and is composed of sand imported from Africa.
Hence, Playa de Fañabé does not have dark sand, just like Playa de Torviscas.
Although there are still several beaches with lava sand in its extremely natural origin.
You can sunbathe quietly here for a small price of € 5 per beach bed or umbrella. At Playa de Fañabé you can also sunbathe on luxurious sun beds at an additional cost.
Some hotels or apartment complexes have a discount, feel free to inquire at the reception.
There is also distraction for the children, such as a playground and with various lifeguards who supervise you can calmly get a tan.
Nearby you can enjoy a nice meal in the morning or in the afternoon for a small price with a view of the sea. For breakfast you can go to various restaurants for an 'English' or 'American Breakfast' from € 2.95.
You can also get lunch or dinner here at a low price.
There are various fun activities that you can do for young and old.
Such as mini golf, trampoline jumping, pedal boats, parasailing, flyboarding or renting a jet ski.
In the evening it is of course also nice to eat something here. Close by there is also a Belgian restaurant called Calypso.
But if you take the stairs up and walk down the promenade you will see even more and many nicer restaurants, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Playa de Fañabé or Playa de Torviscas is the ideal area to stay if you want a quiet holiday.
During the day there is a lot to do and a course of tourists, but in the evening it quickly becomes quiet here, so you can expect a peaceful night's sleep. A few years ago, breakwaters were also installed, making the sea calm and pleasant for swimming and playing.
In Playa de Fañabé there are several souvenir shops, pharmacists and 2 shopping centers. Playa de Fañabé is actually a place that has been in the spotlight before. Namely in the movie
'Fast & the Furious'.
