Playa de las Américas started building in the early 1960s.

Over the years it has grown into a large seaside resort consisting of hotels and apartments of all price ranges.

 

Playa de las Américas is located between Los Christianos and Costa Adeje, which are connected by a promenade.
You can walk from one beach to the other along this beautiful coastal path, while along this promenade you have plenty of drinking and dining options. This beautiful promenade ends at the end of Costa Adeje.

 

Playa de las Américas is also the largest and the most famous tourist resort in Tenerife.
The range of activities is enormous and something new is regularly added. In the hotels at the reception, you will usually find many brochures. Even on the street, you are easily approached about it or you see a kiosk or a stand where you can obtain information about all kinds of activities and possibly make a reservation. A golden rule ... never book with the first. Take your time and inquire with various sellers.

 

Playa de las Américas has a wide and long boulevard where you have a multitude of choice of shops, boutiques, and shopping centers outside the hotels.

Playa de las Américas is a lively area with numerous restaurants, bars, clubs, and discotheques. Playa de las Américas is also known for its vibrant nightlife.
Most young tourists come here for that too.

 

As a result, there is also a lot of night noise in the 'Veronica's' entertainment district where most partygoers gather. Here are some clubs and pubs. To name a few famous ones: Bobby's - O'Neill's Bar - Sound of Cream - Jumping Jacks. Each of these clubs or pubs have their own specialties.

 

Most young tourists between the ages of 20 and 25 also come here for that.

Unfortunately, the quality of the entertainment district is reduced by the noisy partygoers.
